We made our Local paper

I stared getting emails the day after the march for life that we were pictured in the local paper. Our neighbor gave us her paper. I'm so happy that they at Least covered the pro life event . We had estimated over 1800 people from all over Florida and even savannah ga!

March For Life St Augustine January 15, 2011

This year was St Augustine's 5th annual March for Life! Dehvin was picked to carry a hand painted banner of Our Lady of the Americas, painted by Marianne Campos. She is such an blessed artist. I have a painting in my living room she did of the blessed mother.

Ryan and a few guys from the K of C were running crowd control and making sure any negative people stayed back. We only had one man standing on St George street holding a sign about being pro choice. We just kept walking praying our Rosary.

Christmas 2010

After we got home with Ryan a few days later he put up a few Christmas lights. I try to keep it simple. Blue this year because blue is a symbolic color seen with Mary. Some years I use purple lights for Advent. We usually leave our lights up until Febraury 2, when we celebrate the Presentation of Our Lord. However this year Ryan decided to take them down over the weekend (jan 16)

This year was a noticeable Christmas morning for Sebastian :) we keep our gifts simple like our Lord. Only Three Gifts each many of the younger children's gifts were from the local consignment store...

Stockings are a big thing here, usually containing organic treats

Sadly being the sixth baby he got a treat younger than usual. It was an organic natural candy cane by Pure Fun.

Our Georgia Visit, December 14-16 2010

When we were in Georgia in December waiting for Ryan to demobilize we got to visit my Grandmother and she finally met Sebastian for the first time. I was happy she remembered our names, she is in the early stages of alzheimers...and was in rehab again (she broke both ankle bones) for another fall she suffered on Thanksgiving....

Dehvin and Katherine ....Best friends since they were babies ;) we met when Dehvin was 9 months old and kat was just a new born....16 years later and the Tankos are most of our children's God parents. We met at our first La Leche League Meeting!

Sebastian with grandpa, he was not scared at all! He went right up to him and pulled on his pants for him to pick him up. IT is was so sweet. Pray for Grandpa, he was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I am so happy the children got to see him before he started his chemo therapy.
