Another book worm

It looks like we have another book worm. Sebastian loves books and will
actually sit in our lap and let us read to him.
This is one of the many things we miss about daddy being deployed. He
loved to read to the children every night.Of course he would fall
asleep a lot too while reading them to sleep. It is the little things
that mean so much.
Sebastian favorite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It seems all
of our children love this book. It teaches so much to....

Not a military cut

So our Ethan has been begging for haircut. He wanted a military cut
like daddy. Now do not get me wrong I understand (why well sort of) the
guys get those cuts. I guess I get why some moms give their boys buzz
cuts because it is hot in the summer . For some it is easier I hear.
I always said if I had boy I would not shave his head! Even daddy
agrees we not shaving our boys head.
Forgive me but it just reminds me of my very few trips to wal mart and
seeing some of the really how shall I say redneck children the ones
that look like there are not cared for.
Besides Ethan has a huge head and has for a while. I could not imagine
how goofy he would look shaved.
So we opted for thus sort of cut....

Mommy got a hair trim

So I went and got my hair trimmed today at Panache my favorite salon.
It is funny how much I loved having that destress neck massage and did
I mention how amazing it was to have my hair brushed, smoothed and
dried?! So much better feeling than a four year old brushing momma's
hair. I love my children gently brushing my hair but this was so nice
to be pampered. I only get my hair cut every few months. Ah the little
things in life.

Pondering my blogging

I sit here tonight with my sweet baby Sebastian nursing in my arms as I type. I have trying to figure out this blogging for a long time. I prayed to God to please give me the knowledge and brains to figure it out. Thank you God I finally know what to do and most important I figured out how to blog from my phone.
A momma with 6 children and a currently deployed husband can not sit and do this easily...but I want to I need to write, one for me , two for my children and three for my dear husband whom is deployed serving this country. I want him to be able to read what he is missing, more than the Facebook updates I do.
I find writing actually very healing...and hopeful it will help me cope with this deployment.
God Grant me the Grace to cope...St Michael protect and defend our soldiers!

Sweet Sebastian the past few days is showing signs that he will be
walking soon.
I am praying he holds off till daddy comes home on leave in a few weeks.
