Sebastian is TWO!! May 5, 2011

It is so hard to believe my sweet Sebastian is TWO years old (from birth) . Two years ago I was sitting in a NICU fighting to nurse this little guy. I am very proud to say we won and he is still nursing!

This year I made his first birthday cake! Yes you read it right....My babies don's start eating till after they are a year old...So no First Birthday cakes here...But I made a organic Apple spice cake only sweetened with honey.....

I chose a star pan that we already have because he is our bright shining star, a Gift from above!

I frosted the cake with a vegan cream cheese frosting with powdered sugar I made in my Vitamix.....

These are the all natural colors I use to dye our frosting. This was a light blue , from blueberries of course. Yes I realize it is not a bright vibrate blue...

I kept it a simple decorated cake, not one our usual fancy ones..but that is ok right?

Sebastian honestly had no idea what was going on. He was a little scared of the candles too. Ansely held him so I could take lots of video and pictures. Because sadly just as daddy missed hir first birthday...he is missing his second. Very sad in my heart....but THAT is another blog post entirely...life as a military wife.....

Ansely Blew out the candles for him....

He slowly figured out what to do of course and funny thing he realy didnt like getting icing on his finger either.....

His first bite of birthday cake!

this look was priceless!

and like a typical two year old he got on the table....He also LOVES the ipods....

Happy Birthday my sweet baby boy we love you!!

Just another day at the Beach April 30, 2011

This picture about says it all...my favorite place is riding my bike on the beach. I go away from everyone. So my little babies can run around naked. Some people have issues with children that are in their own skin ....they are only little once so sweet pure and innocent. My littles are allowed to be in there own skin ...and yes they do grow out of that desire ...I have teens and they outgrew it....so enjoy your babies and let them be FREE!

These birds are all over the beach area I ride my bike to...and it is mating season...such beautiful birds...

This is what happens everytime we go on a bike ride! I also have a twin bike trailor...

Happy Easter! He is Risen! April 24, 2011

This year I finally went out and got all the children new baskets. The past few years I reused the metal pales I painted years ago. So this year I went to Hobby Lobby and got cute baskets...that could used by the girls on their dressers to hold hair accessories or makeup.....Those that know me know my children are allergic to artificial colors and preservatives. We also dont do dairy...Yes it can be challenge but this year it was easier...I keep it simple. Natural jelly beans, sundrops, organic dark choc bunnies, yummy earth lollypops and a few artsy toys.

This year I got these cute hair rollers and did Felicity and Tatiana's hair the night before so they were all ready for morning Mass! It looks sort of Little House on the Prairie...very cute..

Felicity

Tatiana

And Tatiana the next morning all ready for Mass!

After A VERY crowded Easter Mass we took advantage of the children all dressed up and as I do every year I took lots of photos...

Sweet Sebastian...whom was very sick Easter and continued for weeks with yet another bronchial infection...

Ryan took this photo, not a great shot but I wanted one with the children..

And one with Daddy...since he missed last year while he was deployed

This Easter was a cute one because Sebastian could walk and it was his first Easter egg hunt...

Felicity loved her coloring books

Tatiana

Teen sister love.....

This year daddy hid the eggs, I was told last year I stink at hiding eggs...so here they go.....

This was so sweet Sebastian found his very first Easter Egg, with help, he felt really yucky this day and we actually almost had to take him to the ER..But lots of prayers and using the nebulizer helped....

Have a BLESSED EASTER season as we continue to celebrate for 40 days!
 Alleluia!!!
